Safari Plan
Day 1 :
Nairobi – Samburu
- Morning: Pick up at the airport or from your hotel, followed by a short briefing by our driver guide.
- Day: Depart Nairobi for Samburu, traveling through tea, coffee, and sisal plantations. Stop at Nanyuki to view Mount Kenya and the Equator.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Samburu in time for lunch at the lodge or tented camp. Relax after lunch, then embark on the first game drive of the reserve.
- Evening: Dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 2 :
Full Day Samburu
- Early Morning: Start with an early morning game drive for unlimited wildlife viewing. Look out for unique species like Beisa oryx, Gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffe.
- Morning: Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the lodge or engage in optional activities such as a nature walk, visit to a Samburu village, or swimming.
- Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at the lodge.
- Evening: Head out for an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where many animals gather to quench their thirst. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 :
Samburu – Nairobi
- Morning: After breakfast, depart and drive back to Nairobi.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your exciting 3-day Samburu road safari.
